This is a really interesting realization. Games and movies/tv tell stories differently. But the interactive nature of gameplay is a big challenge to how a game's story works. I never liked TLOU gameplay so while i appreciated the story it felt like a slog to get through

They don't galvanize negative engagement like a fresh and fit or Andrew Tate. Good people have not given up on men and boys we just can't reach them cause youtube, tik tok, and Twitter (and by proxy regular people) won't let that content get an audience.

Let me explain why deplatforming reactionaries IS much better than "defeating them in the marketplace of ideas" 🧵 So im going to avoid the low hanging fruit of pointing out that im not sure that open debate actually serves to "defeat" ideas. I've been perusing the Jordan Peterson fan circles for the past few weeks and it's interesting to see how so many of them are somewhere between shock, denial, and cope in JP confirming what we've know all along, which is that JP is a transphobe and a right wing nut job. It's interesting to see their infighting as the authoritarians and diet fascists begin to clash with the centrists who are being forced to reconcile the reality of who he is (and always was) and his numerous mask off moments from the last few weeks.

Change them and or the titles as needed. If your watch time metrics aren't matching the views (if your video has good watch time and likes but has a lower view count) the thumbnail/title is the problem
