Sr. Faustina Kowalska was a Polish nun who is most well known for the Divine Mercy. Her confessor was Fr. Michael Sopocko.
In this thread, I would like to highlight how the apparitions did not come from God, and also how Fr. Sopocko abused and manipulated the nun.

The whole Franciscan spirituality is, in a sense, based around modesty. Poverty is a very modest form of life, with no vanity or pride, and the clothing of the Franciscans reflects this. In its early forms, the habit was a mere peasant’s tunic with a course rope girt around them.
