1/ Hujah yg menentang kemasukan org bukan Melayu ke UiTM kerana 1)kedudukan istimewa Melayu 2)Melayu dinafikan peluang pendidikan - menunjukkan bagaimana rasisme & kapitalisme berkait rapat.

Words mean things. Using words like colonialism and imperialism on here without being theoretically grounded actively impedes intellectual rigour and scrutiny. This is dangerously anti-intellectual.

A THREAD/ So Ku Li has proposed that the concept of Malay citizenship be revived. It’s noteworthy that this concept is not new-it was embodied in the People’s Constitutional Proposals for Malaya drafted by PUTERA-AMCJA in 1947. The proposals were outright rejected by the British.
2/ What Ku Li has failed to mention is that the concept of Malay citizenship put forth by the Left sought to guarantee equal rights/freedoms for non-Malays. It would effectively bar any claims to special privileges (contrast this with Article 153 of the current Constitution).

Me trying to start a conversation about all-male panels:
Me: Why are there no women on the panel?
Men: We can't find women who can speak about this issue.
Me: Have you asked them?
Men: No
Me: Why are there no women on the panel?
Men: OMG I just noticed.
