A young lady ( I've known her for a decade or more) was mercilessly beaten by her drunk husband on 3 and 4 th May, 2025. He dragged his 6 months' pregnant wife on the road in his village and beat her badly ++ +Her in-laws , along with a lot of other villagers were watching this. NOBODY intervened to save her. She couldn't believe this. She left her home without telling anyone, crying and in a state of shock and walked a few kilometers to the police station in her tehsil. ++

@SiddharthKG7 Then please dont say that she volunteered!!! Forcing doesn't mean dragging by physical force. I am sure I don't need to explain this. And see the context, a patriarchal, casteist society/State, a young bride of just 18 years old! Did the Court say she prepared herself? ++ @SiddharthKG7 You must have researched well on the court's judgment. I am not suggesting that you make a statement that people forced her but then, equally so, you shouldn't be making a "statement" that she volunteered! This is simple. Factual corrections. It's NOT about interpretation.
