It’s abhorrent that Lucy Powell, Leader of the House of Commons, has dismissed @Channel4 documentary about the grooming gangs, ‘Groomed’ as a ‘dog whistle’.
Unlike the Netflix drama Adolescence, this show features real women who were raped by multiple men from the age of 11. 🧵
This comment reflects the attitude of so many council leaders, social workers, teachers and police officers who turned a blind eye to vulnerable white girls being trafficked and raped by multiple Pakistani men.
A documentary about a teenage girl medically transitioning into living as male, using a breast binder and starting testosterone will be shown in classrooms in February to promote LGBTQ History month by Into Film which is funded by the National Lottery.

Into Film’s project aims to ‘inspire’ young people and spark discussions about LGBTQ issues.
This should not be allowed in schools @bphillipsonMP @wesstreeting as it’s promoting harmful medical treatment.

🚨The @churchofengland has published an updated anti-bullying guidance for CoE schools, ‘Flourishing for All’ in which it tells schools not to ‘misname’ trans-identifying pupils or adults.
The whole draft document is a safeguarding nightmare which sexualises children.
🧵
It says that LGBT children, young people and adults are ‘made in the image of God’ and that ‘gender questioning children and transgender adults are at the highest risk of being bullied at their schools.’

A watershed moment in Parliament. @VictoriaAtkins says she will ‘root out’ gender ideology from the NHS in order to protect children, and that ‘nothing is off the table’ to stop dangerous private providers of puberty blockers.
Now we need action on education. @GillianKeegan

Meanwhile, in the Wild West of unregulated RSHE providers, predatory adults give out these messages to children. This is from Outspoken Education.
If describing virginity as a ‘social construct’ & talking about a ‘sexual debut’ isn’t encouraging teenagers to have sex, what is?

A reminder of why the Government must ban children socially transitioning at school, even with parental permission. When asked by Victoria Derbyshire about why he "doesn't want to be a boy", this 8 year old says "I just don't fit in. I've been a girl for 3 years". He then slips up and says "I feel like I shouldn't be a girl". He's obviously had words put into his mouth by adults, it's child abuse
and here's a 6 year old boy on the same BBC show

In 1969 our founder Dr Stanley Ellison wrote a letter to @thetimes challenging "men and women who believe in the decent way of life" to "step forward and say so...let it be clearly be seen that all that is immoral and ‘sick’ in our society is not to be tolerated." 🧵
Dr Ellison's call to arms was taken up by many courageous men and women and two years later FET was formed. Some key aims were to protect children from premature exposure to sexual material, promote respect for parents and support their role as the primary educators of children.

In November 2014, one of FET's trustees gave evidence to @CommonsEd showing that RSE guidance backed by the DfE was encouraging unlawful sexual activity. The document published by the Sex Education Forum, the PHSE Association and Brook undermined the law on the age of consent 🧵
The Brook Sexual Behaviours Traffic Light tool, which was warmly welcomed by the DfE, gave the green light to 13 year old children ‘consenting to oral and/or penetrative sex with others of the same or opposite gender who are of similar age and developmental ability’.

Professor Justin Clardy's areas of research interest are " the intersection of love & race". He has "largely focused on both the ethicality of non-monogamous relationship styles and the unjust political consequences for non-monogamists".
Trying to change the nuclear family in order to justify a personal lifestyle choice of being non-monogamous is not in the best interests of children, who have the right to be raised by their biological parents within a stable marriage.
