Your liturgical trivia for today: in "Cum Nostra Hac Aetate" (1955), Pope Pius XII changed the name of the Octave day of Epiphany (13 Jan) to the Commemoration of the Baptism of the Lord. (He also abolished the Octave of the Epiphany.) All the liturgical texts of the Mass and Office were kept the same as they had been on the Octave day of the Epiphany. The newly-named Commemoration of the Baptism of the Lord was given the rank of Duplex Maius (major double).
