Jacob, because he had no revelation, thought he had to scheme, manipulate, and fight for what was already his by Abba’s promise. This evil trick needs to be exposed. What happens when you’re made to think you have to labour for what’s already yours is that you get faith fatigue. Too many exhausted saints. The Lord said, “I will give you rest.” We are despising the letters of Paul for “the practical” whereas it’s an obedience of faith from first to last. The pattern for all things is laid out in scripture. For instance, Paul says, “psalms, hymns and spiritual songs”, revealing a pattern. If we start from the psalms of David’s and Asaph’s sons’ and meditate on the hymns, we will end up with spontaneous “spiritual songs.”

Settle the issue of generational curses once & for all. Whether or not you have one is immaterial, actually. Once you give the impression that you're a spender, peeps throw professionalism out the window. They'll start offering you their left leg, their granny's necklace, their pastor's holy water. They'll ask if you want to sleep in the pool, or bathe in the kitchen. They'll yank the seat from under someone who got it previously on merit and offer it to you, to your shame and embarassment sometimes. They'll step on peeps just to please you. They'll denigrate their previous allies, and betray their employers. They'll corrupt you.

Your mind needs the infusion of the divine. There's no conception without this process. "There is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty infuses understanding to it."

Most of us are ignorant concerning the principles we meddle in. Marriage is a principle. It’s not a rite of passage or simply an event. The abuse it’s been subjected to is due to a misunderstanding about the concept itself. How do it know? Our debates on it betray our ignorance. First off, it’s not really a contract. It’s an intention to evolve. We can we can’t approach it with our old concept of self, it’s a contradiction. You are expressing an intention to redefine your concept of self when you start meddling with it.

In communication, what we are really looking for is to influence someone else’s perception of an event so they could draw a different conclusion than the one they presently hold. I don’t see how shouting helps this process at all. And if it won’t work, why do we do it at all? First, try to understand their position, sincerely. W/o this, it’s DOA. Let them show you how they arrived at their conclusion. Ask more questions to genuinely understand how they got here. Acknowledge that their conclusion is actually reasonable, now that you understand it.
