A thread on coronavirus controls in Wuhan from interview on @BBCr4today 6.30ish with Xihong Lin, Professor of Biostatistics at Harvard.

Their study concluded that success lay in the use of centralised quarantine. This removed all positives, suspected and close contacts from the community.

Positives were immediately taken to field hospitals (16 were built in Wuhan) even if with mild or no symptoms.
