18 mths ago, I started out on a participatory research project with a group of volunteers, 3 @uccsocialwork Students and @CARL_UCC. We examined the needs of young people in Douglas, Cork. We had ZERO funding and very tight deadlines! But we got there! We used creative research methods (photo-voice) and we interviewed minors - so there were a couple of nail-biting weeks when we were waiting for ethical approval! But we got there!
