All my life, I have used public buses in Karachi and many a times touched inappropriately while coming to home from college. What did I do? Get myself covered in a bigger chadar. Took a scarf. Took my brother with me to the bus stops. Wore lose clothes. The harassment didn't stop. I thought guilty of myself. I felt bad about my body. When I first started working, I was a young enthusiastic student full of hopes and dreams for a better future. I wanted to work to gain financial independence.
