The birth control pill significantly increases women's risk for depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, fatigue, and lower self-control. It also gives women a cortisol response similar to trauma victims with PTSD. 🧵 The pill contains synthetic estrogen & progesterone and overrides your natural hormonal cycle, resulting in lower levels of testosterone, a necessary hormone for sexual drive, appetite, and good mood. Testosterone helps manage stress and even has antidepressant benefits.

The nuclear family is a modern, fairly new concept that looks very different from how the traditional family functioned for the majority of human history. The traditional family was multigenerational. If they didn’t live under the same roof, they lived very close to each other or on the same land. Until the early to mid 1900s, the idea of a husband, wife & children separated from their larger family was rare or unheard of.

Studies have shown that the birth control pill wrecks your gut lining, significantly increases your likelihood for Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc. It also impairs lean muscle growth, increases cortisol, depletes B vits, magnesium, zinc, etc. "You're not a doctor!" One does not need a medical degree to read studies and understand research. This information is available to anyone who is literate and has basic comprehension skills and common sense.

Here's what has been confirmed so far about the tragic story in Duxbury, MA of 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy allegedly killing all 3 of her children and attempting suicide while her husband went to pick up dinner. Around 6:10pm on January 24, Patrick Clancy called 911 upon arriving home and finding his wife on the ground in the backyard. She attempted to commit suicide by jumping out of a window that was about 20 ft high. First responders arrived to find all 3 Clancy children unconscious.

Our knees naturally go over our toes in many different chaotic settings and a variety of everyday movements. Walking up/down stairs, sitting down to use the toilet, bending down to pick up things/children etc. Not to mention sports and martial arts, both chaotic settings that 1/5 will inevitably result in your knees going over your toes at some point. The idea that your knees shouldn't go over your toes comes from the alignment-obsessed fitness culture that is more concerned with aesthetics than function. If our knees are bound to go over 2/5

We live in a female-dominated society. Women are much more likely to get a college/grad degree, excel in school, graduate top of the class. Women are MUCH less likely to die on the job, commit suicide, die/injured in war, be homeless, file for bankruptcy, go to prison, die young. In their 20s (before they leave the workforce to raise kids), women earn more than their male counterparts and perform excellently at the office. In 2021, half of all new businesses were started by women. There is no such thing as a "gender wage gap."

A couple years ago I suffered from insomnia for 9 straight months. It was horrendous and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I took a deep dive into the science of sleep and learned a lot about how to achieve high-quality sleep.

5 things I did to transform my sleep forever: 1. I went to sleep and woke up at the same time every single day, weekday or weekend.

This is the #1 piece of advice from sleep experts across the board. It's the best way to regulate your sleep/wake cycle and allow your body to fully rest at night and be alert in the morning.

This clip from Savanah Hernandez reached nearly 1 million views and the anonymous account she shared it from has been wiped from Twitter. As soon as her videos were going viral, Twitter wiped the account without any warning. @elonmusk this censorship is out of control. Image

The "you should've breastfed" response to the infant formula shortage is truly heinous. Why is it that so many of the "natural moms" tend to be the most self-righteous, insufferable, ignorant people on the planet? Yes, I do believe that many of moms opt for formula bc they don't like the "inconvenience" of breastfeeding. This is disappointing. But there are also many moms out there who aren't physically able to breastfeed & need supplementation for their babies to survive.

Men's hormone levels have a 24-hour cycle. Women's have a 28-day (roughly) cycle. This accounts for massive differences in how we function and thrive.

The 9-5 office grind was created perfectly for men's hormone cycle. Women naturally have a harder time adjusting to it. ImageImage Men kick off the day with booming levels testosterone and cortisol. They're energetic, focused, and ready for work. In the afternoon their T levels drop slightly and they're in more of a mood to socialize (networking, meetings, happy hours, etc).

Mass amounts of Americans eat fast food every other day, drink copious amounts of soda, never see daylight, and sit in front of the TV for multiple hours—and they wonder why our country is sick, fat, depressed, and easily manipulated. You don't need government-sanctioned healthcare. You need to clean up your life, care for your body, and take responsibility for your health.

My 90-year-old grandma who lives in the Bronx is slowly losing her mind from being locked up in her small apartment for 8 months.

Physically she is ok—but mentally she is deteriorating and it has been a devastating thing for my mother & family to witness. She used to go to the Korean senior day care center every day to interact with friends, play card games, take field trips.

The home care nurses told my mom they’ve had MANY reports of grandmas like mine who’re losing their mind from the lockdown. It’s resulted in death for some.

Many people write off the lifestyle/news sites like Vox, Buzzfeed, Teen Vogue, Bustle, HuffPo, etc. as if they're not the mainstream media because they don't have "real" journalists working for them.

Yet these are the very publications we need to worry about. Here's why:

1/
They bring in WAY more traffic than established news machines like NYTimes and WSJ. In fact, data shows that millennials and GenZ don't really read NYT and WSJ that often and instead spend most of their time surfing through the lifestyle/news sites like Buzzfeed & Bustle.

I want everyone to understand one of the main reasons the media is so fake. I worked in mainstream media for 5 years so I have seen firsthand how news is produced.

First of all, it's important to know how these sites make money. Their #1 source of revenue is advertisements.

1/
That means the #1 priority for media outlets is not the quality of the content, not reporting the objective truth. It's pleasing advertisers. If their content doesn't make the advertisers happy, they will not post it. Companies I have worked for have been asked many times to-

99% of martial arts athletes I know are overwhelmingly gentle-spirited, kind, family-oriented men in their everyday life. They're killers on the mat, but sweethearts off the mat.

I asked my good friend, who was a pro-MMA fighter for years, why this is.

His incredible answer: "When you truly connect with the brutality of the sport and the true masculinity of being a man, you must also find balance on the other end of the spectrum in order to live well in this world. You have to know peace. You have to value love & family. Martial arts taught me that."
