Today we are introducing Veo 3.1, our newest video generation model. Here's what that means for Flow:

1. Your videos will have richer audio/dialogue, more narrative control, enhanced realism, and more.

2. It's available across Flow's current suite of features, including Frames to Video, Ingredients to Video, and Extend.

Here's how you can use each feature to level up your AI filmmaking: Use First and Last Frame to dial in your opening and closing shots. And now you can bridge those frames together with a custom soundtrack or dialogue, ensuring your story flows as you intended.

(1/7) As an AI filmmaking tool built with and for creatives, we wanted to put our features to the test. So, we created our own short film!

Follow this thread for a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, and see how Flow can help you build stories with consistent characters, scenes, and objects. (2/7) We started with a vision - an epic, modern action film with a suspenseful plot and a classic heist theme. Our goal was to create a cohesive narrative and cinematic look, with consistent characters and objects. Here is one of the prompts we used in an earlier scene.

“Grainy overhead security camera footage from the corner of the ceiling inside a luxurious jewelry store. The polished marble floor reflects faint glimmers from the spotlights above. Rows of sleek glass display cases showcase sparkling necklaces and rings, their reflections slightly distorted by the low-quality recording. The timestamp flickers, with occasional static lines cutting across the frame. A thief dressed head-to-toe in black, wearing gloves and a balaclava, slips inside and shuts the door behind him. He moves quickly, scanning the room with nervous urgency, darting from one display case to another. His rapid gestures leave streaks of motion blur as he presses his face close to the glass, almost frantically searching. The dim, ambient lighting and shifting shadows intensify the sense of suspense, as if something critical is about to happen.”Image
