After analyzing 500+ prompts, I found the 8 blocks that separate amateurs from pros.

Most people write prompts like they're texting a friend.

Pros build them like architectsβ€”using the same 8 essential building blocks every time.

Here's the exact formula: BLOCK #1: WHO the AI should be

Stop saying "help me." Start defining identity.

Fill-in-the-blank:
"You are a _____ who specializes in _____. Your superpower is _____."

Real example: "You are a conversion copywriter who specializes in B2B SaaS. Your superpower is turning features into benefits."

Are you still optimising your blog images manually?

Or are you paying a monthly sub to do it?

Do you have a mac?

Here’s how you can bulk optimise a whole folder in 2 clicks. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡ Step #1 - Get Pixelmator Pro

This is the engine behind this shortcut and easily one of the best Mac apps I’ve ever bought.

It fully replaced Photoshop for me, it’s excellent for Youtube thumbnails, featured images and all.

Plus, it’s a one-time fee. No subs here. Image

Some people on Reddit already have access to Bing GPT and have been running some experiments πŸ§ͺ.

Here’s one many content creators & SEOs will find both terrifying and relieving. πŸ˜¬Β πŸ§΅Β πŸ‘‡ The user started by asking Bing to find 5 studies about aerobic exercise that were conducted in the last 5 years.

And Bing obliged, this is the power of AI connected to the internet: It can find & summarize data 10x faster than you could now.

I’ve had some time to play with the new Bing search examples.

Is it the end of SEO traffic?

What could Google steal from this?

Here are 6 practical key takeways for those who care about search traffic. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡ 1/ The SERP layout clearly still gives the best real estate to websites.

If Google adopted such a layout there would certainly be some traffic drops, but not nearly as dramatic as we all imagined it to be.

Microsoft is not just adding OpenAI to Bing.

It's also adding it to the @MicrosoftEdge browser.

Meaning you'll have a desktop and mobile app for AI access now.

Source: Microsoft event The new bing is running on a version of OpenAI that's more powerful than ChatGPT AND Optimised for search.

A LOT of changes to search are ahead of us and will probably change the way we do business.

Here are my quick thoughts on Bing GPT / Google Bard for niche / authority site builders πŸ‘‡πŸ§΅ 1/ The answer engine changes, but the backend stays the same.

It means every time you are frustrated with the top results of a Google search, you'll probably be frustrated with the Ai answer.

While AI can write, it still struggles to tell what's "good content".

Here’s exactly how you can find low-competition long-tail keywords using ChatGPT.

Traditional keyword tools rarely surface these keywords, and this could give you a real competitive edge.

Start by giving it context on your site, then ask for a list of sub-niches πŸ‘‡πŸ§΅ Usually, it doesn’t go too deep with the first prompt, so I recommend you ask it to expand it further.

But don’t stop here! πŸ‘‡

Following the Bankrate / Cnet AI story of last week, I've decided to analyze the performance of their AI content.

I pitched their AI-assisted pages against their top writers, and the results were... interesting.

@JimRoyalPhD outperformed AI by 776% on average in November. He also managed to produce 27 articles, whereas the AI-assisted team only produced 16 πŸ’ͺ.

We've all been taught to use search volume and traffic potential to pick keywords.

After all, data-backed marketing is the most sensible way of making decisions, right?

Let me tell you the story of 2 keywords and how this led us to change our keyword research approach. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡ This story started when we discovered the keyword "pet blogging".

It looked perfect for @authorityhacker. Lots of search volume, low competition, and decent traffic potential.

We were excited 🀩.

Here's another way you can use for ChatGPT today.

I pretend I want to write a guest post from @authorityhacker to @epicgardening by @KevinEspiritu .

So I ask ChatGPT to come up with topic ideas that cross my expertise (Marketing) with his (Gardening) I then asked it to include the ideas in a pitch email from me to Kevin.

It gave me a pretty decent yet generic-sounding email. If it was just that, it would already be good, but it gets MUCH better πŸ˜‡.

Still, note it found out about my family name and my position in the company

Here's how you can use ChatGPT to research like a topic expert on topics I'm not an expert on.

And let's do it with a case study because I know you guys love practical examples.

Let's imagine I'm writing an article on "the health benefits of switching from sugar to Xylitol." I googled "pubmed" Xylitol and found this scientific publication on the benefits of Xylitol (mdpi.com/2072-6643/11/8…)

It has a lot of value for my content but...

I'm wayyyy too illiterate to properly understand it. πŸ™„

I've often quoted @thehoopsgeek for being one of the better build "small" affiliate sites.

With 43DR yet 300,000 monthly visitors, they have one of the best, most "practical" implementations of EAT site owners should look to the model.

Here's what you can learn from them 🧡 Their intros highlight the practical product features to look for to answer the problem highlighted by the query.

This doesn't just add topical relevancy that helps you rank up.

It also shows your readers you understand the issue, and they're more likely to convert on your page

According to many SEOs, links are still the #1 ranking factor on Google. πŸ”—

But a lot of the advice on acquiring links is elusive at best. 🀨

So a while ago, we decided to dig DEEP into our internal link-building data, and here's what we learned πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡ Before we start, here's the data set this study is based on:

πŸ‘‰ 600,000 emails sent
πŸ‘‰ 151,941 websites emailed
πŸ‘‰ 80,613 emails opens
πŸ‘‰ 23,428 replies
πŸ‘‰ 4,306 links built

WordPress powers 30% of all websites. 😳

This makes it a prime target for hackers who want to use your hosting to mine crypto or sell links on your site. ☠️.

If you want to avoid increased hair loss and stress, use this 🧡 to protect your site πŸ‘‡ Image And if you think you don't need to protect your site.

If you think this happens to others only, think again.

The last product launch I did, we got hammered by a heavy DDOS attack and it cost us 5 figures easily. 😭

Many boast about making bank with ads & affiliates. 🀯

But the blogs that make the most money are usually NOT counting on either of these.

In this 🧡, I'll show you real-life examples of $1,000,000+ / year blogs and how they make their money. πŸ‘‡ First, we've vetted all these tactics and used many ourselves to make millions so you know they're not πŸ’©.

Here's a non-affiliate / ads revenue screenshot to prove it πŸ‘‡.

The affiliate site @vpnmentor.com recently sold for $150,000,000. πŸ€‘

That's probably one of the BIGGEST exits for an affiliate site.

It also makes it one of the highest-earning affiliate sites ever.

Let's see what we can learn from them 🧡 πŸ‘‡ 1️⃣ They monetize more than "best" roundup reviews

Actually, their top 10 pages don't include ANY roundup reviews.

They're generic how-to guides on topics like "how to get unbanned from Omegle" or "How to delete your Instagram account"

Here’s a 🧡 of the best FREE ones and how to use them to get more done in less time πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ 1️⃣ @ubersuggest_seo will give you the most free SEO data

πŸ‘‰ traffic numbers
πŸ‘‰ keywords a page rank for
πŸ‘‰ link numbers

etc.

They also have SERP overlay but it’s buggy, I recommend you use the next extension instead. πŸ‘‡

The recent Google core updates have been pretty brutal for many site owners 😭.

Recovering from these is tough but doable, so I decided to prepare a 🧡 that will help you recover if you got hit.

Applying this stuff may also prevent you from being hit in the next update. πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ 1️⃣ Wait at least 2 weeks before doing anything.

These updates take a while to roll out and occasionally sites bounce back towards the end of the rollout.

Sometimes doing nothing is the solution.

It happened to one of our site in the last update πŸ‘‡.

Many people talk about build content silos / hubs etc for better rankings.

But very few people show you how they actually look in real life.

So in this 🧡 I’ll show you some real life examples you can model your sites after to build content hubs and get more traffic. πŸ’ͺ 1️⃣@securitydotorg ’s hub articles

Security.org built a sub navigation of top of their hub pages you to go to deeper pages of the hub/silo.

After these, they just run a normal article that ranks on Google.
