I'm seeing a lot of people say stuff like "Why should I cheer for Epic; they're already rich." Which, of course, is true, but I think misses one of the points of why they're doing this.

Namely, they're the only ones big enough to do this and actually make a difference.

Disheartened to read a bunch of KFGD questions thinking the #SpiderManPS4 Rami suit is because of the people who were being jerks on the Internet. That's not what happened. I have no inside knowledge, but I think it's pretty clear we have a sad, repugnant situation here... If I've learned one thing covering games for 12 years, it's that nothing's simple. Creating the suit wasn't simple. Getting it to work wasn't simple. Making sure it didn't break the game wasn't simple. Getting Sony/Marvel/etc. approvals wasn't simple. This took forever.
