1/ Kudos to Mark Carney @bankofengland for announcing tonight that stablecoin cryptocurrencies like @Libra_ will be able to store reserve assets on deposit directly at the central bank ft.com/content/148c37… 2/ The ability to deposit funds directly at the central bank is typically restricted to commercial banks. Allowing crypto companies to have this same access would be a big change.
