What issues are on the ballot in 2024?

On November 5th (just 38 days away), 40+ states will vote on 150+ ballot measures. In the thread below, I'll go through only the most important & interesting ballot items in each state. Each post will have 5 states grouped together.

Alabama
-Nothing important/interesting (1 very minor measure).

Alaska
-Increase the minimum wage to $15/hr by July 2027 + requires paid sick leave (Ballot Measure 1).
-Repeal ranked-choice voting that was adopted in 2020 (Ballot Measure 2).

Arizona
-Require partisan primary elections + prohibit jungle/top-two, top-four and top-five primaries (Prop 133).
-Change signatures requirements for citizen-initiated ballot measures (Prop 134).
-Any emergency powers granted to the governor automatically terminate 30 days after the state of emergency is proclaimed and enables the legislature to terminate or alter such powers (Prop 135).
-Permit challenges to initiative measures or constitutional amendments after the filing of the measure with the secretary of state (Prop 136).
-Eliminate terms limits for state supreme court justices (Prop 137).
-Allow for tipped workers to be paid 25% less per hour than the minimum wage under certain circumstances (Prop 138).
-Provide for a state constitutional right to abortion before fetal viability (Prop 139).
-Replace partisan primaries with top-two or top-four primaries, require general election candidates receive a majority of votes and require ranked-choice voting in general election when three or more candidates advance from the primaries (Prop 140).
-Impose a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole for anyone convicted of child sex trafficking (Prop 313).
-Authorize police to arrest noncitizens who cross the border unlawfully, allow for state judges to order deportations, require E-Verify before someone receives financial aid or public welfare and makes the sale of fentanyl a Class 2 felony if the person knowingly sells fentanyl and it results in the death of another person (Prop 314).

Arkansas
-Nothing important/interesting (2 very minor measures).

California
-Repeal Prop 8 (2008) which defined marriage as a union between one man and one woman and declares the right to marry as a fundamental right (Prop 3).
-Prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude as a punishment for a crime (Prop 6).
-Increase the minimum wage to $18/hr by 2026 (Prop 32).
-Prohibit the state from limiting a local government to enact rent control (Prop 33).
-Require large health care providers to spend 98% of revenues from federal discount prescription drug program on direct patient care (Prop 34).
-Classified certain drug offenses as treatment-mandated felonies and increases the penalties for certain drug and theft crimes (Prop 36).
