I (and others more knowledgeable) have a theory—or at least a likely contributing factor that should be mentioned. New York Times: Why Does Gen Z Believe It's 'Aging Like Milk'? Some say they fear their generation is aging more quickly than others. But as Gen Z-ers enter their late 20s, it's more likely that they are simply getting older. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10…

If possible, you want to avoid having a chronic illness while you deal with the effects of climate change. My heart goes out to people who are chronically ill and also experiencing extreme heat, floods, fires, and so on.

“This is not AIDS as we know it from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, it is a new type of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome with different deleterious effects on immune function…but both resulting in increased vulnerability to infections.” “Immune system deficiency and other COVID properties also suggest a potential link to greater risk of cancers.”

Why Doctors Don’t Acknowledge the Dangers of C19

This is one of the best explanations I’ve come across. And it’s written by a doctor. r/ZeroCovidCommunity I'm a physician and honestly I have not been surprised how wrong physicians have been about the dangers of COVID. For one, medicine is very rigid and hierarchical and people are trained to follow preceptors/leaders blindly. Medicine takes a lot from the military-in its hierarchical structure, blind trust of authority, and even language ("order", "triage", etc). On top of that, and despite what we tell ourselves, critical thinking is not a big part of medical training. It is superficial-we learn associations (triads of symptoms, etc) rather than deve... reddit.com/r/ZeroCovidCom…

I’ve seen a few reports of people who are very C19-safe and follow all the precautions but who recently became infected.

Outside of folks who took their masks down or who ate or drank outside somewhat close to others and so on—does anyone have thoughts on why this might be? My intention isn’t to shame anyone. Our government and other people taking zero precautions have completely failed us. But I’m interested in the science & facts re: why C19-safe people are becoming infected now (if that’s indeed the case).

A good article if you missed it.

“Yes, a virus that can literally cause brain damage is spreading at record levels and most people are acting like it’s just another wave. Just keep running.” Salon: Noah Lyles’ collapse underscores our collective C19 denial “Millions of patients can attest that COVID is anything but mild — and it's definitely not the flu. The SARS-CoV-2 virus can worm its way into nearly every part of our bodies, trashing our immune system and damaging our organs.”

A couple of bits of good news in our ongoing hellscape. These recently occurred after I shared some C19 truth bombs:

1) A family member w/ Parkinson’s said they & their partner are often the only masked people & they turn down risky invites. I’d assumed otherwise. 2) A friend who was a little snarky about C19 in the past said, People say "better safe than sorry" about many trivial things but never about C19! My sarcastic reply is "You ever hear of the concept of other people?"

At first, I almost didn’t believe what I was seeing.

Top 10 or 11 Comforting Lies People Tell Themselves About C19/S@RS2 The initial illness—the acute phase—is all you need to worry about and there won’t be any long-term effects. In truth, the first part is only the beginning. Each time you get it, you’re playing C19 roulette. Remember that HIV also begins with a mild, flu-like illness.

During the initial “We’re all in this together” era, did anyone predict that later, basically everyone would pretend like the pandemic wasn’t still actively occurring? Because I certainly didn’t. The “mass amnesia while it’s still ongoing” phenomenon was nowhere on my radar. Articles were written about how people forget a pandemic after a pandemic’s over. But that’s different and distinct from forgetting about one while one is still happening.

“The majority of people don't want to admit there's an airborne virus that guarantees severe chronic illness after a few infections. Doing that would make them extremely uncomfortable, and it would require them to both change their behavior and admit responsibility.” “The longer we go, the harder it's going to be for them to admit they probably killed more than one person and probably cursed even more to a life of endless sickness.”

“We KNOW viruses like HIV and EBV increase health risks 7 to 15 years after infection. No one knows what one [C19] infection may do to our bodies a decade later, much less what three, five, or ten infections may do.”

medium.com/@augieray_6670… “There is mounting evidence that every reinfection increases risks of Long COVID. There are hundreds of studies that suggest each COVID infection damages brains, hurts hearts, damages reproductive organs, and can pervasively infect our bodies.”

My husband told a college friend we couldn’t make his birthday party b/c we’re C19-safe. The friend: “Whenever you return to trusting your immune system, I look forward to seeing you again.”

It’s so maddening to hear “educated” white liberals parrot right-wing talking points. You know, talking points brought to you by the same folks who say climate change is a hoax, etc.

I had a breakthrough last night. Now when I share C19 scientific data & info with others who are in denial or not following the science, etc., I’ll say, I’m not trying to change your behavior. I’m just sharing this info to show you why I’m living as I am. Before this nightmare began, I understood well that one person can’t really change another. They of course have to want to change before they’ll change.

Post-acute sequelae (or “post-viral illness”) + airborne + asymptomatic transmission really broke or exceeded most people’s capacity for understanding science and how some viruses work. Of course we must also factor in the gaslighting, minimization, and misdirection via governments and their corporate overlords. That certainly didn’t help.

At 4 years now, how closely or not is the progression of SARS2 to CovAIDS paralleling that of HIV to AIDS? From an article linked below:
“•1 in 4 people (25%) take 1-2 years (fast progressers).
•2 in 4 people (50%) take 2-10 years.
•1 in 4 people (25%) take 10-15 years.” “•Less than 1% people would still have a high CD4 count after 15 years. These people were called long term slow progressors (LTSPs).”

@DonEford it’s not only safe, but provides the best response of all the vaccines.

Specifically, I urge you to:
- Provide immediate access to Novavax for all groups, including those under 12 years old.
- Allow people to get Novavax after they’ve had an mRNA vaccine.
- Make boosters @DonEford available every six months so people can maintain consistent protection against infection.
- For those who are 150 days out from their last mRNA vaccine, let them have a new primary series of Novavax to ensure that they receive the full protective benefits.
