I just read a story of a woman who was talking about the concept of ugly & beautiful for women. She said she grew up w/ it being made very clear she was ugly. She said as a grown woman, people threw garbage at her or moved away from her. Just her presence made them hateful to her

You cant “FEEL” organ or neurological damage per se. Doesnt mean it aint happening.
I used to have this friend who was a “health nut,” but she was also someone who would rather dig through her own feces looking for “parasites” than wear a mask or get vaccinated. It was such a great insight for me into the way the average American is conceptualizing COVID.

Crime is not a result of moral failure. I stole money at 19-21 because my father was dead and my mother was disabled and we were losing the house and I was hungry and had no help or anyone to turn to. My very rich grandfather refused to help me at the time (something he claims
not to remember but I will still recall on my death bed) and I had to do something. I saved my mother and I. Nobody else. And I took the consequences in stride. I earned them anyway. And now Im on the other side of it. And grateful I had a judge who saw my humanity.
