Subject: Complaint Regarding Hate Speech and Deliberate Outrage of Religious Sentiments by Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against an individual named Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi, who has made repeated and publicly visible social media posts targeting the Hindu community, its beliefs, deities, and sacred symbols with vulgar, obscene, and communally provocative content.

These posts, published via his social media accounts on Twitter (now X) and Facebook, include:

- Derogatory and abusive remarks against revered deities such as Lord Krishna and Devi Kamakhya.

- Vulgar and sexually explicit language aimed at Hindu scriptures and rituals.

- Terms such as “rapist culture” and “urine drinkers”, clearly intended to humiliate and provoke.

- Morphed images and misinformation designed to ridicule Hindu festivals, temples, and traditions.

- Content inciting enmity between religious communities, capable of disturbing public peace and order.

These statements appear to be deliberate, malicious acts with the intent to insult religious beliefs and promote communal hatred, in violation of several provisions of Indian law.

I am enclosing screenshots of multiple posts made from these accounts, clearly showing the content in question. Note that these may only be a tiny sample of the totality of such objectionable posts.

Legal Provisions Violated (but not limited to):

The aforementioned posts by Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi violate several provisions of Indian law, including:

• Section 196 of the BNS: Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion.

• Section 299 of the BNS: Deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.

• Section 356 of the BNS: Statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred, or ill-will between classes.

• Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000: Publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form (if applicable due to the nature of the content).

Request for Action:
In light of the seriousness and repeat nature of these offenses, I respectfully request the following actions:

1. Immediate registration of an FIR against Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Information Technology Act.

2. Coordination with Kolkata Police to investigate the social media activity of @rashidi_wazahat, identify all objectionable content, and facilitate its removal.

3. Arrest of Mr. Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi from Kolkata and his production in Delhi to ensure legal proceedings are conducted appropriately and without delay.

Preventive measures to ensure the safety of the complainant and the local community from any retaliatory threats or communal fallout.

Additional Note on Parity:
It is important to note that Mr. Wazahat Khan Qadri Rashidi had previously filed a complaint against Ms. Sharmistha over a video posted on X.

Despite her immediate deletion of the video and public apology, she was arrested by Kolkata Police from Gurgaon, and her transit remand was granted by the Magistrate.

In the interest of equality before law, I request that similar legal action, including arrest and detention, be initiated against Mr. Rashidi for content that is not only communal but arguably far more severe and voluminous in nature.
