Studying International Relations or Diplomacy or IRD in its entirety is DIFFERENT from being a diplomat. I was once on a humanitarian mission to Somalia & Sudan. I slept in tents & ate tin food. What I saw on those missions not only broke my heart, I returned in a very depressive state. I saw how innocent women & children suffered & died of malnutrition, I saw what civil wars did; The sound of (physically weak) weeping mothers haunted me for days, I knew right there and then that I will never stay another day away from active politics. Everything we do is a DIRECT result of a political decision;

I can't stop thinking about the Afrikaans university being build. White people mobilized 300 million amongst themselves. This uni is already under construction, and whites have yet again created an employment project worth 4,5 million. Dear black people.... (THREAD) stay with me!
