The events have taken place in the municipality of Tazacorte and are also maintained throughout the area of 'Cumbre Vieja' that covers the municipalities of Mazo, Fuencaliente, Los Llanos de Aridane and El Paso, at depths ranging between 8 and 11 kilometers approximately.
