People called me a fearmonger when I expressed concern over Cover opening in California, and honestly I wish back then that I was. I’d LOVE to be wrong.

But unfortunately…I am becoming more doubtful that its just me fearmongering. Instead it potentially could be something more than mere paranoia.

COVER released this infopic in a recent blog post.

This is a little…concerning. I expressed concern about it back in March when Cover opened in Cali. The red flag, is the fact that COVER is using Corporate Memphis.

Oh so an actual Japanese Historian confirming Yasuke was a Samurai? Did he find a new unreleased source? I’ll have a read.

Oh…it dumbs down to “there’s no evidence saying he was not a Samurai, so we can assume he is”. That same twisting of burden of proof fallacy again.

Image This Historian is working a PR firm backed by Blackrock, Vanguard, Goldman Sachs to name a few.

The PR firm “specialises” in adapting Japanese cultural content to a “modern western audience”.

So basically, it seems at least this Historian…has a financial incentive to push specific unproven historical records, and passing off as fact.Image
