The purpose of the annual event is give a new year's celebration to the people held inside the jail. Many people have not even been convicted of a crime while in the jail.

I'm back on Laburnum and Hermitage in Richmond at the former site of the AP Hill statue. Today the crew comtines to remove pieces of the statue's pedestal and to relocate the remains buried underneath. Some people were in my mentions complaining the AP Hill's remains were relocated. I think that's nonsense because he remains were moved from Hollywood Cemetery to make a tourist attraction. I believe a cemetery is better than in an intersection.

I've decided to check out Charlottesville Untold, a book by Anne Smith which is the perspective of Unite the Right from a white nationalist. This was published last year, a month before the Sines v. Kessler trial that found that organizers plotted racial moviated violence. Image First thing I am going to do is check and see if I am in the book. Looks like she did some fact checking.
