Lets take a look at russian bond default.

1) Moody's have been downgrading Russia . Entire western rating agencies too but does this really matter to Russia.

Russians with their sovereign bonds had cash to make the payments. 2) But it is the US and EU governments have stolen their money in the name of sanctions .

Couple of yrs before biden administration revoked the waiver of Russia paying its bonds for russia to default.

Now here is the thing where are we heading in the Russian Ukrainian conflict

Here is somewhat I think might happen.

1) Will there be a peace treaty? No way. Earlier Russia wanted but it was denied by the west. 2) Now since Russia is winning what you think will there be a peace treaty? Will Russia tell ok. I dont think and Russians know that they cannot allow Ukraine to be sovereign more and Russia will not trust West and Nato bcoz West and NATO hve lied always and they r still lying
