While I'd love to hear O'Toole come out against vaxports, I understand why he isn't. The CPC is a centrist party that needs a broad tent to form gov't.

Vaxports are primarily a provincial issue, and a polarizing one at that. It's best for O'Toole to stay out of that mud.
The Liberals know this, and as they continue to sink, their rabid desperation to drag him into a hardline stance will only increase.

I believe the concerted push for vaxports in the media is part of a wink-wink agreement between the liberals & media in exchange for the bailout.
Doug Ford, ever the coward, will implement some half-assed vaxport in his usual attempt to appease all sides.

When that fails (and it will fail) he'll return to his base, hat in hand, to beg for forgiveness.

1) A short thread on what I think is happening and coming next.

I've been using a new formula, basically a dumb man's (me) r0, to predict case growth. The results seem promising so far.

This new formula indicates that we are very close to a peak. Image
2) Once case growth hits that dashed line, we're a day or two away from our peak.

Again this method is new to me, so it could be totally off, BUT...

I think the Public Health establishment, who have failed every step of the way, are seeing what I'm seeing.
3) That's why there's the sudden HUGE push for vaxports. This is their dying breath. It's their last chance to attach a restriction to a natural peak, as they always do (lockdowns 2 & 3), so they can take credit for the decline.
