Recently, Texas Senator John Cornyn, brought up my name in a senate hearing about an assault weapons ban. @JohnCornyn 🧵 While I’m glad that someone in DC still remembers our story- as the media pushed it away so quickly once it stopped being politically convenient- I take issue with him invoking us, just weeks after he led and organized a pack of other rep. rhinos to stamped over our 2A rights.
