In April, 2 organizers of #GoogleWalkout, Meredith Whittaker & Claire Stapleton, came forward with stories of retaliation they’ve faced as a result of speaking out at the company. Claire left Google this week. #GoogleWalkout update: Collective action works, but we need to keep working. True equity depends on it. bit.ly/googlewalkoutu… Last week, 20,000 Google employees and TVCs walked out to protest discrimination, racism, sexual harassment and a workplace culture that only works for some. By taking collective action, and joining a global movement, these workers took a risk.
