A single bill, combining ag tax credits and income tax cuts will be introduced and originate in the Missouri Senate, where we hope for speedy passage to the House.



As an Ag Governor, vetoing an Ag Bill was not something I took lightly, but to put it simply, it was a bad deal.
Starting September 6, we are calling the General Assembly to Jefferson City for a special session to lower the individual income tax rate from 5.3% down to 4.8%.

Today, we traveled up to Nodaway County to celebrate our NEW investments in rural infrastructure which included $3,003,000 in the Long Branch and Mozingo bridges projects. 

We want to CUT TAXES for working Missourians, and lower the individual income tax rate to 4.8% beginning in the 2023 calendar year.
Today, we traveled to Kirksville to celebrate the $75 million infrastructure investment our administration making with the Transportation Cost-Share program.
