Day 27

1. A scholar once gave alms to a beggar in presence of his students.

One of the students, recognized the beggar and informed the scholar, “This person is undeserving.” 2. The scholar, however, ignored the remark and proceeded to give money to the beggar.

As they walked away, the student asked, “Why did you give money to someone undeserving while deserving people are left in the lurch?”

1. When Musa (peace be upon him) was traveling with his family in the valley of Tuwa, he saw a fire.

He approached it and realized that he was actually having a conversation with Allah. 2. In Surah Taha 37-40, Allah mentions this story & tells Musa about all the favors that Allah had bestowed upon him.

Allah reminds Musa of how He inspired his mother to cast him into the river, then inspired his sister to follow the basket until she saw Firaon's men take it.

Day 27

1. There was this Abyssinian woman cleaning the Prophet's masjid, and she was reciting a poetic verse:

The day of scarf was one of the wonders of my Lord ~

It was the day when HE saves me from disbelief 2. Mother Aisha had listened to her recite this several times.

Mother Aisha thought that it was a traditional or cultural song that this woman was reciting because it didn't have any apparent meaning.

Day 26

1. Jabir bin Abdullah was an orphan who lived in extreme poverty with 9 younger sisters.

His father had accumulated a huge debt that was now Jabir’s responsibility to pay off. 2. Once, when he was on an expedition with the Prophet ﷺ, he was riding on a weak camel due to his extreme poverty.

As a result, everyone went ahead of him, and he was at the end of the caravan.

The Prophet ﷺ too was at the end, so he met Jabir.

Day 25

1. The story of Julaybib is one of the most famous stories from the life of our Prophet ﷺ.

It is tremendously popular among young Muslims trying to get married.

But there is also another aspect to the story. 2. Julaybib was a young sahabi who was also looking to get married, but he was born with several disabilities and was deformed in shape.

He was extremely poor, belonged to the lowest tribe of the society, and wasn’t pleasant to look at.

1. And there is no creature on Earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register. 11:6 2. The aforementioned verse is incredibly calming if you come to think about it.

It says that every creature on Earth has his/her rizq predestined.

Not just that but even the place and storage of the rizq is also predestined in the book.

1. Centuries before the birth of our Prophet ﷺ, there was this woman called Hannah who couldn't have any children.

Finally, when she became pregnant, she vowed to raise her son in the service of Allah. 2. But as destiny had it for her, Allah blessed her with a daughter.

Since she had already vowed, she needed to fulfill her vow.

So, she sent her daughter in the service of Allah.

1. When Prophet ﷺ was twelve, he went to Syria accompanying his uncle Abu Talib.

At a place called Bostra, there was a Christian cell which had been occupied by a Christian monk called Bahira. 2. Bahria was well versed in the prophecies of the promised Prophet ﷺ.

Like Waraqah, the cousin of Mother Khadija, he too felt that the coming of the prophet would be in his lifetime.

1. People are having this incredulous anger at the thought of Andr*w T*te being forgiven by Allah since he has accepted Islam. 2. He hasn't personally harmed any of his apparent haters.

It is just that in his past life, he has made some vile misogynist remarks for which the anger is rightly justified.

1. Every other Prophet mentioned in Quran is addressed by their first name- "Ya Adam", "Ya Ibraheem", "Ya Musa" etc. except our Prophet ﷺ. 2. There are only 4 places in Quran where Prophet ﷺ is directly mentioned by his ﷺ name, and at all the 4 places Allah is reflecting upon some quality of our Prophet ﷺ rather than addressing him ﷺ.

1. When Hazrat Haleema travelled from her drought-stricken land towards Mecca, her mule couldn't keep up with the rest of the caravan 2. She was facing extreme poverty and was desperately in need of a family that wanted their child to be fostered.

But nothing was going right.

The mule that she was riding was too weak to reach Makkah before everyone else.

1. During the Meccan period of Islam, Muslims faced a time when they were socially and economically boycotted to such an extent that they resorted to eating grass and leaves because of the lack of food. 2. Muslims who were slaves or belonged to the weaker section of the society were either lashed or lynched depending on the mood of Kufaar.

1. One of the most poignant aspects of Mother Khadija's life was that she never got to see her husband, our Prophet ﷺ in his full glory of Prophethood. 2. She only got to see him being humiliated, beaten, bloodied in the streets of Makkah. She never got to see him as the uncrowned king of Madina.

1. The Prophet whom Allah calls his Khaleel didn't get to experience the joy of Fatherhood for 80 years of his life.

The Prophet that Allah talked directly to worked as an indentured labor for 12 years! 2. The most beloved being to Allah was survived by just one daughter, he himself buried all of his children!

Mariam a.s. was among the purest people among her tribe, and yet she was slandered in the marketplace!

1. One of the attributes of Allah is that HE is Samad which means that HE doesn't need anyone but everyone needs HIM. 2. Allah works in mysterious ways.

Hazrat Hamza didn't accept Islam for years and then one day after he returned from a hunting expedition, his slave girl told him that his nephew (our Prophet pbuh) was harassed and beaten by Abu Jahl.

1. Hazrat Anas had a younger brother named Umair.

Umair had a pet bird.

Whenever Prophet ﷺ used to pass by their house, Prophet used to call Umair and ask, "What has happened to An-Nughair (the name of the bird)? " 2. Once Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was going to some place. On his way, he saw Umair visibly upset.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ went to this little boy and asked him about his sadness.
Somebody accompanying Umair told Prophet ﷺ that Umair’s pet bird had died.

1. When Hazrat Umar went to take the keys of Al-Aqsa, he was only accompanied by a single servant, no entourage, nothing. 2. The servant and Hazrat Umar were taking turns in riding the single camel that they had with them.

1. You might reach a point in your life where death will seem to be fascinating companion.

It does appear fascinating, when you've been battered by life to such an extent that you want to throw it away. 2. Life will put you up at pedestal and while you're expecting laurels, it'll decapitate you then death will seem fascinating.

Death will seem fascinating when you find every single one of your dream crushed.
It does!

1. After every 5 years of your life, the definition of Bakht'e-bodd-'The lucky one' will change. 2. During your childhood, luckiest were those who got into the best schools, had best toys.

5 years later, it was those who were doing well in their studies.

5 yrs later, it was those who had supporting parents.

5 yrs later, it was those who got into best colleges

1. Two of the Prophet's ﷺ ancestors were meant to be sacrificed by their fathers but weren't?

One was Hazrat Ismael a.s. another was Prophet's ﷺ own father Hazrat Abdullah. 2. Abd ul Mutalib didn't have any son, so he prayed that if he has 10 sons, he'll sacrifice one of them in the premises of Kabah.

As it happened, he became the father of 10 sons and had a dream that reminded him of his promise.

1. Anas ibn Malik reported: We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and he said, “A man from the people of Paradise will enter.”

A man from the Ansar came whose beard was disheveled by the water of ablution and he was carrying both of his shoes with his left hand. 2. The next day, the Prophet ﷺ repeated the same words, and the man came in the same condition.

The third day, the Prophet ﷺ repeated the same again, and the man came in the same condition.
