A thread about why Gavin Shuker shouldn't be trusted.
1/ Gavin was Angela Eagle's campaign manager in her leadership bid.
On the day of her launch event, the venue had to be changed at the last minute. Eagle's team claimed that it was because "the hotel had received threats" 2/ They claimed that the Police had been informed and had offered protection for the event.
I had a ticket for the event. When I turned up at the original venue there were no Police in attendance, and the hotel told us the venue had changed.
