"A myth, propagated mainly by author Khushwant Singh, that the RSS protected Sikhs before and after the 1984 Sikh Genocide, is still used by BJP supporters and RSS workers"

My article for @BaazNewsOrg

baaznews.org/p/gurjant-sing… I'll take the opportunity to address some questions.

Q: Did RSS save Darbar Sahib during 1947?

A: Frankly, information about RSS during actual events of 1947 are murky at best. It is claimed that RSS protected Harmandir Sahib on 6th March, however no reliable source exists.

How a Sikh should conduct themselves socially, from Prem Sumarag Granth:

-Do not talk too much, except if it be to repeat the Creator's name.

-Do not laugh or smile frequently. Do not speak evil of another.

-Do not prattle incessantly. When you speak, do so with understanding. -If anyone asks you a question, answer him, though not at excessive length.

-If anyone seeks clarification, [take the trouble to] give it, but do not talk unnecessarily.

They are either fully sovereign or in a state of war and rebellion.
A subservient coexistence they never accept.
To be fully sovereign and autonomous is their first and last demand"
