 As Eton coming to the Tees Valley seems to be going ahead, a little evidenced-informed thread to highlight why I feel the move is wrong & it won't have an impact on the majority of people the initiative aims to help - the area's disadvantaged young people...... 2/x
Check out the work of Nadia Siddiqui & @SGorard re the impact of grammar schools on disadvantaged learners & their wider work re education & disdvantage. Affluent parents won't just sit back & watch Eton w/out trying to exploit the situation......
