99% of cervical cancer is caused by high-risk human papillomaviruses (HPV), a common sexually transmitted virus. To prevent cervical cancer, effective vaccines are administered. Yet, in #Tigray, vaccines have neither been accessible nor available b/c of the humanitarian blockade.
