I'm less offended by the term "Negro" (context would matter).
Every Black, Civil Rights era activist, used the term "Negro".
The Negro League was the only way "Negro's" could legally play pro-baseball.
Spray painting "N*gger" on my garage doors, is offensive.
Also:
Satchel Paige played in the Negro League.
His uniform can be found in the Negro League Museum, in Kansas City.
There is a Negro Anthem, that is still sung in the Black community, today.
If you can spell-out "Negro" but, not "N*gger" - you know the difference.

1. Unfiltered:
Black people understand how *little* White Americans value us, our story, and our shared history.
Our children see your hypocrisy. They see how you devalue them with your outrage over learning Black history.
We teach them what you want to whitewash & ignore. 2. Hard Truth:
Reason for the outrage over CRT and The 1619 Project, which is NOT taught in grade-schools, is clear:
You don't really care about *social justice*.
You want to ignore our history, because you want to ignore us.
Your comfort level is more important than ours.

My argument for why Justice Amy Barrett is an Originalist - which should clearly articulate what the stakes are: a thread.
(1) "Originalism" is a bit more nuanced. The late Justice Scalia and Amy Barrett embrace the twin interpretive methodologies of textualism and originalism. Textualism and originalism are essentially two names for the same methodology..

Beware, some smart people are speaking truth about today's two major political parties with relation to Blacks, but truth devoid of context is not factual - context matters. Let's briefly set the record straight. A thread:
1/ Today's Democratic party was the 1800s & early 20th century Republican party (literally) & had Black support. Lincoln was in fact a Republican, but here's context: he was moderate-left on social issues (he opposed slavery but supported segregation).
