Australian woman detained at US border for 24 hours without clear charges, denied legal representation, and officials broke promise to contact her husband.

Basic fair treatment protections completely ignored.

🧵 1/8 THREAD: SCOTUS just handed down a ruling that could LIMIT Trump's ability to prosecute DEI violations, even though it sided with the government.

Here's why I believe Kousisis v. US matters, although I am not an attorney, and this is not legal advice: 2/ THE CASE: Contractors lied about using minority-owned businesses on government projects.

They got paid $20M+ but delivered exactly what was promised, just didn't follow the diversity requirements.

SCOTUS: Still fraud, convictions upheld.

More laypeople need to read Mandiant’s APT1 Report and realize it’s only been about a decade since the curtain started getting pulled back on government cyber espionage.

It was groundbreaking for a private company to release such a report, and it wasn’t that long ago If I, as a security professional, try explaining the basics of “cyber” warfare (none of us too the term cyber seriously, but it stuck with the public), to a layperson, they often can’t accept some of the basic premises which are fundamental to threat intelligence and malware work

Beyond SM, keep your kids off Telegram, Discord, Roblox, Twitch, & YouTube.

Re: YT, unless you have the time to curate specific content & limit access to the rest, you should know that Google's parental controls are designed to limit their legal risk, not protect their brains. The risks for each platform differ, but the reality generally involves inappropriate and brain-damaging content, sexual predators, terrorists, and foreign intelligence trying to turn your sons into mass shooters.

Beware!!

How is this birthright citizenship thing gonna go? I'll tell you in just a few short tweets.

1/7 🧵 2/7 The Supreme Court is hearing a case on Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants.

What was once a fringe legal theory by racist jackass attorney John Eastman has reached SCOTUS due to Trump's day 1 Executive Order.

🧵 THREAD: The Pentagon's insane restructuring by Hegseth (cutting 20% of 4-star positions & rapidly removing military leadership) bears disturbing historical parallels to military purges in 1930s Germany. This strategic concentration of power follows a historical playbook (1/13) Hegseth's order to cut 20% of four-star positions and additional reductions among generals/admirals mirrors historical patterns of authoritarian leaders systematically removing military leadership independence.

This isn't hyperbole. Unfortunately, it's pattern recognition (2/13)

This is something that is not well-understood. The algorithm and the way the website presents you information act as a perception filter which is not truly detectable via human means. Best source would be a leak from inside X explaining the manipulations. We'll have to wait I have observed that Internet users are typically unaware that websites like news sites, especially their front pages, are often modified such that one user's view may be extremely different from another user's view in terms of the content presented to them and how it's arranged.

1/5 Former star Tesla engineer Christina Balan faced shocking treatment after raising a brake safety issue with Elon Musk in 2014.

Her entire team was threatened with deportation if they didn't back down, and Balan was forced to resign.

I've tried to post this thread 3 times... 2/5 Balan's bravery in speaking out didn't end there.

Despite battling breast cancer and facing blacklisting from the industry, she successfully represented herself in court and got Tesla's arbitration case against her thrown out.

1/ BREAKING: NYT reports the Trump admin is adding migrants to Social Security's "death master file" to cut them off from financial services, which is effectively "tantamount to financial murder" according to former SSA commissioner Martin O'Malley. Image 2/ This is EXACTLY what I warned about in my Nov 2024 piece "The Administrative Art of Persona Non Grata": the quiet strangulation of targeted groups through bureaucratic means.

1/ Musk displayed a troubling disregard for core American values when he told Fox the admin will "go after" those "pushing propaganda" abt Tesla–prioritizing punishment of his critics above respect for the principles which have always defined our republic.
thehill.com/homenews/admin… 2/ Context: Amid the "Tesla Takedown" movement protesting Musk's role in Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), dealerships have faced vandalism, including firebombings. Trump purchased a Tesla in support of Musk as stocks fell, calling attackers "terrorists."

As an infosec pro who held security clearance for a number of years, I am somewhat surprised by the big public reaction to top brass' use of Signal for unauth transmission of TS/SCI (NOFORN?) info. This is almost certainly the least harmful security error they have made thus far. I suppose the public really *doesn't* understand what happens when you get rid of qualified & experienced people and tear down regulations associated with safety & quality which may have originally taken much more time & consideration to implement than they will to dismantle

1/ 🚨 NEW: Treasury just launched what might be the most sweeping financial surveillance program in U.S. history. In 30 border ZIP codes, ANY money transfer over $200 will trigger automatic government reporting. Previously this threshold was $10,000.

That isn't a typo! #privacy 2/ What does this mean? If you live in affected areas of CA or TX and send money to family in Mexico, your personal details—name, address, ID info—will be automatically sent to the government starting in mid-April.
For undocumented immigrants, this creates an impossible choice.

🧵 EXPLAINER: TRUMP'S EXECUTIVE ORDERS INCLUDING ENDING BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP/JUS SOLI

đź‘€ This executive order aims to limit automatic birthright citizenship in the U.S. by reinterpreting the "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" clause of the 14th Amendment (DANGER!! THAT ONE PROVIDES EQUAL PROTECTION!!)

The order affects children born in the US after February 19, 2025 (30 days from the order's date) to two specific categories of parents:

1. Children born to mothers without legal status in the US and fathers who are neither US citizens nor permanent residents,
2. Children born to mothers with temporary legal status (like tourist or student visas) and fathers who are neither US citizens nor permanent residents.

Federal agencies including the State Dept, DoJ, DHS, and SSA will be required to:

- Stop issuing citizenship documentation to affected newborns
- Reject state or local documents claiming citizenship status for affected individuals
- Issue public guidance within 30 days explaining how they will implement these changes

The order applies these key limitations (FOR NOW!!!)
- Applies only to births occurring 30 days after the order's date
- Does not affect children of legal permanent residents
- Does not revoke existing citizenship for anyone born before the effective date

This executive order represents a seismic shift in how birthright citizenship has traditionally been interpreted and applied in the United States. It is already facing immediate legal challenges by ACLU and others, as it attempts to change a long-standing interpretation of the 14th Amendment through executive action rather than through legislation or constitutional amendment (WARNING! DICTATORSHIP AHEAD!!).

The practical implementation and enforcement of this order will depend on several factors, including:

- The response of state and local governments
- Legal challenges that may prevent or delay implementation
- The ability of federal agencies to verify parental status at the time of birth
- The capacity of agencies to implement new verification systems Another order titled, "PROTECTING THE UNITED STATES FROM FOREIGN TERRORISTS AND OTHER NATIONAL SECURITY AND PUBLIC SAFETY THREATS" implements stricter vetting procedures for all foreign nationals, both those seeking entry and those already present in the United States. It requires continuous monitoring for security threats and establishes new standards for evaluating ideological alignment with American values and institutions.

That order states criteria for exclusion or removal includes individuals with "hostile attitudes" toward American institutions, which can easily be construed as including those who advocate for cultural or social changes deemed threatening to the administration.

People in our country have a hard time facing inconvenient facts.

IMO, no leader is driving any effort that would change this outcome, as the People are kept ignorant, and have not demanded it. Believing otherwise is unwise, as there is no countering info to negate thus far. Nothing on TV about this. Newspapers not accurately reflecting reality. Media is complicit.

America was correctly judged weak by fascist enemies, and attacked anew.

Vulnerabilities previously mapped—Now, the intelligence priorities of other nations will be carried out—for $$$.

Q: Why do the GOP and Kremlin bots slander Kamala Harris and other Dems as "Marxist"?

A: I can explain! First, a little context:

Social Murder is a term used to describe unnatural deaths caused by social, political, or economic oppression, rather than direct violence. Image 2/ Social murder is committed by the elites against the poor, sometimes through omission rather than commission, & results in deaths that may seem natural, but were actually preventable.

1/ The promised laughs/tears of the day have arrived!

Buckle up y'all! Remember that incel loser who came at me the other day (image below, top left)? 👇🤠

Let's talk about it. Signals indicate the account belongs to Vladislav "Artem" Klyushin, a convicted hacker who was recently traded back to Moscow (Artem is a common diminutive for Vladislav).

He's wealthy and well-connected, is an associate of a GRU operative already indicted by the U.S. for interference in the 2016 election, runs cybersecurity firm "M-13" which does IT work for Putin's office, and was–and may still actively be–one of Putin's "Musketeers" (bodyguards, somewhat akin to the Secret Service) in the Federal Protective Service (FSO), which is reportedly assigned some level of responsibility over information warfare.

ARTEM_KLYUSHIN represents a high-level Kremlin influence actor who combines cyber and info warfare capabilities, financial operations, and direct policy influence through social media channels owned by his partners to achieve the goals of the man to whom he is loyal.

KEY FINDINGS

> Direct operational connection to GRU through indicted business partner Yermakov
> Demonstrated ability to predict and potentially influence major U.S. policy decisions
> Pre-arranged platform access on X
> Evidence of active, long-running coordination with Trump world + Musk
> Visible systematic strategy to degrade U.S. institutional safeguards

I apologize if images are a bit fuzzy, as the size limit on X is 10mb–I can also mirror these elsewhere later.Image 2/ Klyushin's cyber capabilities and social media operations likely stem from FSO training/connections rather than just GRU links. His relative ease of access to both Putin and elite western figures fits the operational pattern of FSO based on what is publicly known.

> FSO training/connection explains combination of technical and social capabilities
> Part of Putin's "Musketeers" system of trusted operators in strategic positions
> Activities mirror FSO's evolution from protection to Active Measures
> Uses FSO-style elite access patterns (ex. social events)
> Demonstrates FSO's characteristic focus on info warfare and institutional penetration

FSO officers being "elevated to ministerial posts and regional leadership positions" as described in the article below contextualizes Klyushin's focus on U.S. personnel appointments and institutional restructuring in his recent social media activity.Image
