Definitive Nuro FMVSS Exemption Take:
Despite finding that the Nuro R2 is *safer* than the vehicle Nuro is currently testing on public roads, NHTSA mandated Nuro comply with new reporting requirements, ensuring that other AV companies will avoid this process in the future.

Nuro requested 3 minor common sense exemptions for their driverless delivery vehicle:
1) Removal of external/internal mirrors 2) No glazing for front windshield (intended for the safety of occupants) 3) No rear camera 'linger' requirements

After the Micromobility Conference lovefest, I spent the entire next day traversing San Francisco on every available product I could find.
It was endless series of micro-fails.
Strap you helmets on folks. This is gonna be a bumpy ride.
