I never thought I’d be making this thread, but after witnessing not one, but two clueless individuals in a row, I’m being forced to cr8 one thread regarding the origin of the Hande Palegars. After claiming Karnata, now these shameless ppl are claiming Hande Nayaka too.(1/n)
"Wars of Rajas" was narrated by the last Hande Palegar (see pictures 2 and 3). In that book, he himself claimed that Hande Hanma Nayaka, his ancestor, traced his origins to Solapur(pic 1, even showed genological records for this claim), and he was born in Bijapur district,(2/n)

Nādagoudas of Kenchangudda were relatives of Hande Poligars and it got its name from Kanchana Gouda of Hande clan, he built a three-tiered fort on top of Kenchangudda hill, a Gangadhareśwara temple and set a inscription which speaks of his lineage.(1/n)
