DHT is NOT the most manly hormone.

The real king?

5-alpha reductase.
The enzyme that turns men into monsters.

Here’s why you need to max out 5AR — to infinity and beyond 🧵 Everyone talks about DHT like it’s the main event.

But DHT is just the byproduct.
The real player is 5-alpha reductase (5AR) — the enzyme that creates the most potent androgens in your body.

If 5AR is sluggish, so are you.

Why you need to take taurine before your workout.

What if I told you one amino acid could:

▷ Increase strength & endurance
▷ Accelerate recovery
▷ Boost insulin sensitivity
▷ Improve nitric oxide
▷ Supercharge mitochondrial energy
▷ Prevent muscle breakdown?

Let’s talk taurine and its connection to hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).

🧵👇 Exercise naturally increases CSE activity — the enzyme responsible for producing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).

A lot of the benefits of exercise are due to higher H₂S.

Taurine, a sulfur amino acid, is also great at increasing H₂S.

Supplements I keep rebuying.

I’ve tested 100s—for testosterone, DHT, libido, dopamine, recovery, hypertrophy, sleep. and more.

Most gave a mild boost (like glycerol for pumps or B1 for energy)—nice but forgettable.

These are the ones that hit hard, fast, and made the cut:

– Taurine
– GABA
– Cardamom
– Kratom
– Injectable carnitine
– Sodium bicarbonate
– Butea superba
– Creatine
– Cyproheptadine
– Activated charcoal
– Tesamorelin
– BPC-157
– Catuaba
– Piracetam + agmatine

Here's why 👇 Taurine

Taurine is one of the most versatile amino acids ever.
It's great for:
- Reducing oxidative stress and inflammation
- Improving NO and erections
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Premature ejaculation
- Sleep
- Liver protection
- Bile flow
- Boosting focus

And much more

Throw your fish oils in the toilet.
They’re outdated, overhyped, and oxidized garbage.

Here are 2 superior alternatives:
– Coconut oil
– C15:0 (pentadecanoic acid)

Let me explain why. 🧵 Image Omega-3s (like EPA & DHA) are highly unsaturated.
That means lots of double bonds = fragile and highly prone to oxidation.

Once oxidized, they can cause more harm than good, especially in people with high inflammation or poor metabolic health.

Taurine is the most underrated anxiety killer on Earth.

It boosts insulin sensitivity, protects your brain, restores deep sleep, and fuels bile flow.

Yet most guys are pounding theanine and hoping for the best.

I've been taking taurine for years...

And what it's been doing for me is amazing! ↓ 1. Insulin sensitivity
Taurine improves glucose metabolism by enhancing insulin signaling and protecting pancreatic β-cells.

My blood sugar is consistently in the low 80s and rarely spikes over 120 after a meal.

Perfect if you’ve overdone caffeine, carbs, or stress. Image

If you are struggling with:

➜ Low libido
➜ Poor gym progress
➜ Brain fog
➜ Fatigue
➜ Anxiety or irritability
➜ Weak erections
➜ Low drive or motivation
➜ Low T symptoms despite normal labs

You might not have low testosterone.
You might have androgen resistance.

Here’s the ultimate guide to androgen sensitivity 🧵 Most men are focused on boosting testosterone.
But few ask the real question:

“Is my body even responding to the testosterone I already have?”

Because here’s the truth:
High T means nothing if your androgen receptors are blocked or inactive.

The most ignored, misdiagnosed, yet life-wrecking condition today:

Thyroid dysfunction.

It’s why you wake up exhausted, can’t lose weight, and feel foggy 24/7—despite doing everything “right.”

Here’s what’s destroying your thyroid—and how to fix it before it’s too late: Most people miss the early signs.

Cold hands and feet. Hair thinning. Brain fog. Low testosterone.

Exhaustion despite sleeping 8+ hours. Slow digestion, bloating, constipation, ED.

They assume it’s just part of "getting older".

It’s not. And it only gets worse…

DHT causes hair loss.

Well not exactly.

There is evidence to suggest that it does, but there is also other evidence to suggest that other factors are the cause.

Deep dive below 👇 Why DHT is thought to be the problem

▷ Balding scalps have higher DHT and AR than nonbalding scalps. I think that's about it. They can't directly test for 5AR, because when they extract the hair follicle, 5AR disappears. So high DHT could actually be due to poor conversion to 3a and 3b-diol (which requires NADPH). More on this later.
▷ Finasteride can slow or halt hair loss.
▷ Castration prevents hair loss.

If you want to be an Alpha Energy Male, you have to face fears.

Fear is the ultimate obstacle. But if you want to be an Alpha Energy Male, you must face it head-on.

Overcoming fear isn’t just mental—it’s biological. Your brain, body, and hormones transform every time you conquer what scares you.

Let’s break it down 🧵👇 Before we dive in.
A big part of the DHT PowerUp transformation on TestoTribe is overcoming fear.

We went to this cliff area in Tsitsikamma, overcame the fear of heights and dark cold water and just enjoyed ourselves.

The more you overcome fear, the easier it gets.

Update to 2000ng/dl testosterone

This year I’ve used/done:

- 14 supplements and stacks
- 14 blood tests
- Spend over $5000
- Got over 100 markers checked

Here’s everything I used so far
1. Tongkat Ali
2. Reuteri
3. Agmatine
4. Garlic + Onion
5. Georgi Dinkov testosterone stack
6. Biotin
7. Allithiamine
8. Ginger + sermorelin
9. Arginine + MK-677
10. Testogen

Let's dive into each. 👇 Tongkat Ali mega dose - 10 caps of a 10% eurycomanone extract for 2 weeks and then 20 caps for the 3rd week.

It's been shown to skyrocket testosterone in animals.

For me, it tanked my LH to 1 and my T to 190ng/dl. Image

You're being controlled by your:

Hormone
- Testosterone
- DHT
- Prolactin
- Estrogen
- Thyroid hormone
- Cortisol
- DHEA

Neurotransmitters
- Dopamine
- Serotonin
- Endorphins
- Oxytocin
- Catecholamines

Most people think they have a certain "personality". But your personality can change based on your hormones and neurotransmitters.

Here's what I'm talking about specifically in relation to addiction. 👇 Testosterone and DHT are game changers.
When T levels tank, so does your mood, confidence, and even how you’re perceived. People notice because you’re literally different. On the flip side, boosting T or using powerful compounds like DHT can flip your entire mindset. Suddenly aggression, confidence and drive skyrocket. Hormones are that potent.

Never use high-dose MK-7 if you want high DHT.

Today, I’m diving into a surprising discovery about MK-7 Vitamin K and its impact on DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). But that’s not all—there’s more to uncover about electron shifters and their role in your hormone balance. Let’s get into it.Image As you might know, DHT is synthesized via 5-alpha reductase, which relies on NADPH as a cofactor. This is a reductive process, meaning it donates electrons to convert testosterone into DHT. But what happens when electron acceptors come into play? 🤔 Image

What exactly increases testosterone:

(List of 40 things) 1) Sunlight.

Testosterone tends to be higher in the summer than the winter. This is due to:
- Increased UV light
- Longer days
- Warmer days
- More likely to be active Image
