This justice ball has been kicked from each hopeful impeachment to indictments, & here we r..after how many years? 1/

Trump’s March 4 trial gets postponed BUT he has several backup criminal ... via @YouTube If u watched the Frontline documentary on J6, u can see while there r many ppl who say he’s committed a crime, there r always someone w a good education, saying “let’s not be haste…!”
The problem I c, laws r interpreted. It’s not black & white. My question has always been..

So, I watched an interview w Mariam Williamson & I’m 🙄😒 what I dislike abt politicians is their “American ppl r unhappy and blah blah blah…” Yes, there’s an element of that. BUT, she’s talking abt Biden giving oil companies licenses to drill, & on the next breath “gas prices Is high….blah blah blah…”
Putting on my thinking cap. Oil prices is high bc there’s demand & the Saudis decrease production. If we r really serious abt renewable energy, then the federal gov has to do a MAJOR overhaul of our electric infrastructure. Do we see that happening?

I'm listening to the read out of the indictment by @AliVelshi. When the plot of the J6 coup is condensed into a indictment, it reveals the "intent" of the plot, as well as the planning. Every single undicted co conspirators s/b indicted,bc they KNEW what they were doing was wrong Also, the defense the turd might use, "he truly believed the election was stolen due to the advise of counsel", is bs. His acting leaders, appointed by him, ALL had the same message, "you lost, no conspiracy." Then he turned to the ppl that told him what he wanted to hear.

thedailybeast.com/ta-nehisi-coat… This CRT joke is getting so out of hand. Part of growing up, is TO BE uncomfortable, to find who we are, how tough we can be so we can expand and grow. Being faced w a variety of perspectives/experiences is how we learn empathy. Is this the kind of parents we want to be?

While journaling early this morning, I was contemplating on the state of our emotions. It's interesting how Buddhism has explained this beautifully, which isn't a religious context but 1 of clarity in HOW we regard what's real and not. Why it's always a good decision NOT to hold grudges for long periods of time, and why empathy always meets u at the end of the fizzling out of ur annoyance/anger, and w that, more peace within ur heart.
Once understanding the lack of permanence of everything around us, it's easier to realize that the lens we view our

I just donated to @propublica bc I enjoy thoughtful and detailed & old style journalism instead of superficial punchlines that surfs the surface wo touching the depth.
Anyway, The Federalist Society is in this article again, and it' snot good. Many ppl sitting in judicial seats r members of the Federalist Society, and their views r the antiquated legend/folklore, where white men r elevated among everyone else. Local elections matter more than we realize. I often see judicial seats remain empty or uncontested, maybe bc no one dare to challenge the

This is a quote from @DanRather 's newsletter and it's beautifully and truthfully written, that speaks of what's in my heart. My heart has been plagued w sadness fr the increased racism w "Chinese Virus" to harassment w masking, & the overall feeling of not belonging in a country my family and I immigrated to since we were young, wo speaking/understanding English, a foreign land, no friends...and yet was harassed and beat up by classmates. I wished the world would be different for my kids, but it appears, it's not...it's been ramped up w COVID. A thread

COVID is persistent. We’ve known for years that other coronaviruses, like SARS, can persist in your body long after initial infection. This is likely a byproduct of their evolutionary history; they evolved to spread through bat populations and survive bats’ unique immune systems. Bats are very long-lived for their size, potentially living for decades, even with multiple different infections quietly simmering inside them.

That's who's in Congress, now. I cannot imagine this...then w guns proliferating in our society, unchecked, it'd be a nightmare!

Libertarians—an influential portion of the Republican Party—want to abolish all federal regulatory agencies. The Texas Libertarians want to abolish the IRS. In 1980, when David Koch was the Libertarian Party’s candidate for vice president, he wanted to abolish public schools and welfare payments, Social Security, and rent control. He hoped to do away with the I.R.S, the F.B.I.,

I'm so tired of the ignorant, racist & insurrectionist voters electing incompetent, criminal & racist leaders to make policies that affect all of us. I feel like we're being held hostage because of a certain % of MAGA voters

This is a quote I copied from @Teri_Kanefield This happened because they got reelected despite their support for the insurrection, or, in some cases, because they supported the insurrection. Marjorie Taylor Greene, for example, (one of the few extremists who supported the insurrection and supported Kevin McCarthy

OMG! What has happened to the Republican party? This debacle with Kevin McCarthy is chipping away what's left of his integrity, credibility & decency. The love of power....but is this true power? Or is he playing into those extremists' hands by giving them ABSOLUTE power? This is quoted from Heather Cox's newsletter;
Throughout the day, the allies of Republican leader Kevin McCarthy (CA) negotiated with the 20 extremists who refuse to back him, apparently offering them more and more power to win their votes.
