Today, 20 years after the September 11th attacks, we're remembering the nearly 3,000 people we lost, the first responders who bravely put their lives on the line to save others, and the American soldiers who served their nation when duty called. 1/9 But we must also remember the tragedies we unleashed at home and abroad. As a Sikh American, I know all too well the racism and xenophobia faced by our Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Sikh sisters and brothers after the attacks. 2/9

1. Polling shows that Bernie Sanders has a strong base to defeat Donald Trump. Since the start of the year, Sanders led Trump in 42 out of 46 polls going back to January 2019. 2. More specifically, polling shows that #BernieBeatsTrump in swing states. During the 2016 primary, Bernie won in Wisconsin and Michigan due to his pro-union and pro-worker record. Now, his Workplace Democracy Plan can propel him to wins in 2020 against Trump.
