One Piece: Anime hiatus announced.
The series' official accounts announced that the One Piece anime will go on BREAK for 6 months and will only return in April 2025.
Do you want to know the reasons for this super important decision? Check Out!!!
Released in 1999, the One Piece anime throughout its 25-year history has followed a different production style than what is known today. Therefore, it is a long-production anime, in other words, its staff is always working, through a rotation scheme.

#01 - Question
Hatchofly_: How did you become interested in animation? And why and when did you decide to become an animator?
Vincent Chansard: kind of gradually, at 15 i was kind of a random kid with no particular interest, i discovered drawing at that time and decided i wanted to become a mangaka. Fast forward a bit to when i was 17-18 and leaving highschool for a general art prep school. Absolutely hated the whole art thingy in that school, it was really not for me. But on the bright side there were a few discovery days about animation. There i met dope people, people that were just like me, had similar interests etc. Of course that year i failed every single entrance exam i took, then the year after i went back to prep school but for animation this time. At the time mind you, even though it was an animation program, i was pretty much only interested in character design, i was like " yeah, i'm gonna work for disney and dreamworks like Nicolas Marlet". I failed once again every single exam i took that year, and had to go to a school i did not want to attend. That year started with quite the depression, but failing repeatidely kind of allowed me to get free from all the external pressure, the expectations, the trap of potential. Thanks to the people there i embraced that i was just an average joe and would remain that way, but understood that it was actually completely fine to just be someone unremarkable! I now started thinking about what i liked, what i enjoyed and what brought me fun, instead of thinking of what was popular, of grand goals, of what others wanted and were looking at. That's kind of when i started animation, as in actually animating characters, i had so much fun, i knew it was what i wanted to do, and love doing it no matter what, and so i kept at it!

One Piece (Anime Staff) #01
Animator: Ryo Onishi
He's the kind of animator we might call a true artist. Personally, one of my favorites. today I'm going to talk about my 5 favorite Ryo Onishi scenes within One Piece. Check out!!!
#05 - Mugiwaras Vs Oars.
In Thriller Bark, Onishi is responsible for the entire outcome of this fight. Which was a big hit from Staff in leaving him in charge.
