While I wasn't looking they patched Doom Eternal to make the Marauder super easy. Wow The Marauder was a really interesting *idea* for a hard miniboss-enemy, who got focus-tested into being an easy enemy that LOUDLY and BRIGHTLY told you when it was time to shoot him, and paused the game to tell you how to do that:

If you provide goods and services, you want your potential customers to have disposable income. *Every* minimum wage worker suddenly making more? Good!
But it's really hard to see past the cost of paying your own people more.

The discourse on voting reminds me of a fascinating board game about, uh, sheep farming during flood season, called Lowlands.

And as a Gamer, I'm entitled to talk about its political relevance. Enclosed is my spot on the political spectrum for reference: Basically players have to breed and sell their sheep to win, but also co-operatively build a giant dike that prevents a flood washing them all away. So on your turn you can do sheep stuff or you can do dike stuff.
But sheep are worth more points than helping on the dike.

Very much not a fan of the term 'LeftTube', I find the term very gatekeepy, and don't see myself as belonging to that group. I am a media analysis person who occasionally shares his personal conclusions about the world. My work feels too broad to fit the term. But whatever:

Not only has this aged like a fine wine, it's also very telling about what the centrists are actually up to.
Liberals do not have a systemic critique - things are fine, we just need to make a few changes so things are less racist / poor people have it a bit easier This means that left-wing critiques, AKA, major changes need to be made to protect our freedoms and undo the looting of prior regimes, are far more of a threat to their worldview than the tories winning and making things slightly worse.
