In the early hrs of Sunday January 15, 2023 at 1:45 am, shots were fired into a vehicle near the “The Strip” not far from the University Campus.

According to investigators, the incident began when the parties involved engaged in a minor argument along the strip beforehand. The victim Jamea Harris, 23 was injured by a stray bullet & was deceased after the suspects opened fire into the vehicle that she was a passenger in

It was later confirmed that the shooters were Michael Lynn Davis, 20, & University of Alabama basketball player Darius Miles, 21.
