I worked on this shader last year, but never posted the project. This morning i was asked how i did my skin-shaders in Unreal Engine, and i decided to make a breakdown and put a bow on this project.

So here is a quick thread on how you can do skin shaders in Unreal Engine 🧵 We have all been there, going back and fourth between Painter and Unreal to tweak our roughness and normals. So Fibershop is essentially a tool for character-artists to create hair. It is very powerful tool and i think this also demonstrates how versatile it can be

Something i dont see explained enough, if anywhere really, is how to make the inside of the mouth on characters where you put the teeth

Do you model it? Do you add in retop? Do you inflate the model inwards in ZBrush and pray?
