I’m finally watching Band of Brothers (had it for a long while, just getting around to it) and a few things strike me. The intensity of fighting in these populated areas is upsetting. I think I may have assumed that most civilians were evacuated as troops moved in, but that was naïve on my part. Families with kids trying too cope with mortar fire, that’s unbelievably traumatizing.

Ok, guys, let’s review. If you are a man concerned about being accused of sexual assault or rape, the best way to protect yourself is to not sexually assault or rape someone. It really is that easy. And before you throw out the False Allegations card, think for two seconds .... ... look at how rape victims are treated and ask yourself how many people would lie in order to bring that unique level of hell upon themselves? Yes, it happens, but it is super rare. You’re more likely to win the lottery without buying a ticket.
