Federal prosecutors head into court for the Kilmar Abrego Garcia hearing. The hearing in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case is starting a bit late. Judge Xinis just took the bench. I’ll live tweet. @wjz Judge Xinis is considering several motions to dismiss this case.

She seems to chastise government attorney for Trump Administration saying they could not produce Abrego Garcia—yet six days later, they were able to get him from El Salvador and bring charges against him in Tennessee. Judge Xinis: “Clearly you had other plans. Why else would you file a criminal indictment against someone you could not produce?” @wjz

The Supreme Court remanded the Kilmar Abrego Garcia mistaken deportation case back to Judge Paula Xinis in Maryland who wants the following from the Trump Administration by 9:30 this morning:

(1) the current physical location and custodial status of Abrego Garcia;
(2) what steps, if any, Defendants have taken to facilitate Abrego Garcia's immediate return to the United States
