News: Yuzuru Hanyu has been added to the list of sports people in vital class level 4, the highest article importance class in this category on Wikipedia.
The only other figure skater besides Yuzu in this list is 3-time Olympic champion Sonja Henie.

The main purpose of vital classes is the priorization of articles for quality assessment. The higher the class, the more important it is to get the article to good encyclopedic quality.

Why do I strongly recommend NOT to use the following terms and statements:
"X has artistry"
"Y is an artistic skater"
"Z can combine technique and artistry"

Unlike technical skills, which you can learn and master and make them your own, artistry is not something that you can "have".
Your skills can leave an artistic impact on the audience, but what person A might perceive as artistically valuable, might not be true for person B.

I promised a summary thread about my top 4 Yuzu programs in the different program components and here it is.

Skating skills (SS):
Yuzu’s greatest strength here is the high complexity of his skating movements and ability to vary the speed through his knee action and edge control only. He hardly needs basic stroking to accelerate, which is amazing.
