Finance Minister @MthuliNcube says as part of measures to stabilise the economy, the multicurrency system will be legislated into law. He added that the USD will be a legal tender in Zimbabwe for the duration of the NDS1. Health sector specific allowances adjusted with immediate effect :

President @edmnangagwa is today expected to commission the new look Kudzanayi Long Distance Bus terminus in Gweru.
The bus terminus is now open to the public following a major upgrade of the facility which commenced last year. The terminus was closed last year for an upgrade after Gweru City Council partnered with a private contractor, Bentach Resources.
At full throttle, the rank will be able to accommodate 800 vendors and over 100 buses a day.

Today is World Aids Day and earlier commemorations were held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
This year the commemorations are running under the theme, "Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility" ImageImage National Aids Council CEO Dr Bernard Madzima gave an overview of the commemorations. He called for unity in combating HIV and Aids, saying it will take collective effort among countries to achieve set goals.

First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa has joined other African First Ladies in Accra Ghana, for the Merck More than a Mother annual conference. She is accompanied by the Minister of Health and Child Care Dr Obadiah Moyo and the Ministry’s Family Health Director Dr Bernard Madzima. The two day conference starts today and ends tomorrow. President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to officially open the conference. The First Lady is one of the speakers at this Merck Africa Asia Luminary 6th edition.
