On the 28th June 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo by Yugoslav nationalist Garvillo Princip. Many people particularly Serbophobes see this as Serbia starting WW1 and some even saying starting WW2. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
