Is an Islamic state possible today, or is the very form of the modern state structurally un-Islamic?

Enter the bifurcation of the very concept of a state into its content (mutable) and its form (enduring and ontological).

It’s not denied that some Hanafi scholars acknowledged it is sinful for a woman to be a judge but their legal reasoning was based on the Hadith and not the point of “free-mixing”.
